Waves shred the cliffs, engulfing them and dispersing the remnants along the coast. With climate change comes rising seas causing more land to fall victim to the savage sea.

I was recently interviewed for the Sunday Times Travel, it was published online and featured some of my work. I was pretty happy with it, obviously it has been edited and sub-edited, but take a read and I hope you find it interesting.

It’s getting dark and despite being frozen I can still feel the sharp hail like ice particles hitting me in the face. This is getting serious now, the freezing fog has closed in, visibility had been reduced and we are almost out of fuel, we have been searching for the last three hours yet no sign of the Nenets Reindeer Herders.

Ice archery is a tradition that is being kept alive through passion and dedication of the ice archers.
